Tour Guide in Israel – Givat HaMoreh panoramic vista
תצפית פנורמית מגבעת המורה
Givat HaMoreh observation point (see map) is a much less traveled spot in Israel.
It is situated in the north-eastern area of the Jizrael valley, just above the city of Afula.
From the tower (1500 ft ASL) you have a beautiful 360 degree vista of the following sights – Mt Tabor, Nazareth, Haifa, the Mediterranean coast, the Jizrael valley, the Beit Shean valley, the Samarian mountains, the Carmel mountains, the Jordanian mountains, Mt Hermon, Mt Meron. Of course all the surrounding villages and towns.
This panorama was taken on a winter day with visibility of 20 -25 miles only. On a better day you can see to a distance of 50 miles – easily.
